Located in the heart of Mendoza’s wine territory, in Lujan de Cuyo, Estrella de los Andes has recently added an old-school cantina to its main property. Catering to those looking for a savory, yet economical meal, the Primula Cantina Ferroviara is a wonderful option for brunch, lunch and/or wine tastings.
The Primula Cantina Ferroviara draws on the nostalgia of yesteryear. It features a growing collection of antique decorations and a timeless soundtrack of Argentinian folk music. Overlooking the vineyard, charming indoor and outdoor seating make for a unique dining experience. The cantina’s chef also takes tremendous pride in his work, adding that extra special touch of hominess to the feel of the restaurant.
The menu, which changes every Tuesday, features many classic Argentinian dishes including empanadas, pastel de choclo and chocatorta! An authentic retro Argentine experience.
The cantina is open Tuesdays through Sundays from 10 till 4 o’clock. http://www.bodegaestrelladelosandes.com/
